Kidsneuk Ladies Golf Club staged their Solheim Cup 2026 at Ravenspark Golf Club, bringing together two spirited teams representing Europe and the USA for a day of competitive team match play. The atmosphere was lively, the golf fiercely contested, and the camaraderie unmistakably Kidsneuk. After a determined effort from the European side, the USA team successfully retained the trophy, edging ahead in a well fought battle that showcased skill, teamwork, and plenty of friendly rivalry. The event was expertly organised by Lynne Duggan, Team USA Captain, and Isobel (Izzy) Hughes, Team Europe Captain, whose hard work ensured everything ran smoothly and the day was enjoyed by all. Their efforts were warmly appreciated by the players. Following the match, everyone gathered in the clubhouse where Alba Catering served their delicious homemade scones with tea, adding a perfect finishing touch to a memorable club occasion. A fantastic day of golf, friendship, and tradition — true to the spirit of the Solheim Cup.

The idea was warmly supported, and the event became a meaningful way to honour her connection to both Ardeer and Kidsneuk.
